Rainbow electroplated quartz is a crystal where a natural clear quartz crystal is coated with a thin layer of a colored metal, typically gold or silver, to create a rainbow-like, iridescent effect. This process is achieved through a technique like electroplating, which involves applying a metal coating to the quartz surface. The result is a crystal that appears to shimmer and change colors when light interacts with the metallic coating.
